Why Build Your Export Website With Me

Most export websites are treated as design projects. But looking good isn't enough to help overseas buyers find your products, trust your business, or send an inquiry. I go beyond design, bringing buyer research, SEO, content, branding, and usability together in one project.

01

Am I paying again for a site buyers can’t find?

Your website comes SEO-optimized from day one, not as an expensive add-on later. I research how overseas buyers search for your products and which competitors rank on Google, then use those findings to build your site structure, product pages, and copy for search visibility.

02

Will the rebuild cost us the inquiries we already get?

If your current site gets Google traffic, a redesign can erase years of visibility when URLs change. I help protect the Google visibility that brings you inquiries by checking what already ranks, redirecting old URLs to the right pages, and monitoring performance after launch.

03

How much time will we lose coordinating different vendors?

Most website projects are split across copywriters, designers, developers, and SEO specialists. The problem is the handoffs. I run one strategy through the entire project, so buyer research shapes the structure, copy, design, and build.

04

Does our site embarrass us on a buyer’s phone?

You can confidently share your website with buyers, whether they open it on a phone at a trade show or a desktop in their office. Product details, specifications, and inquiry options stay clear and easy to use across screen sizes.

05

Does our inconsistent look make buyers take us less seriously?

Your website presents a consistent, professional brand that helps buyers take your business seriously. If you don’t have a brand book, I create one first, with guidelines your team can also use for catalogs and exhibition materials.

06

After launch, how will I know if it’s working?

You can track how visitors find your site, which pages interest them, and how search visibility changes over time, giving you evidence to guide improvements. I set up Google Analytics and Search Console, give you access, and explain the numbers in plain language.

07

Does our website sound machine-translated to overseas buyers?

Your website speaks to buyers in your target market naturally, without sounding like automated translation. I turn your team’s technical knowledge into clear, market-appropriate copy that uses familiar terminology, answers buyers’ questions, and presents the proof they need to feel confident contacting you.

08

Who keeps the site alive after the project ends?

I stay available for updates, maintenance, and questions after launch, so you have someone who knows your website to help keep it current and working. Your team has ongoing support instead of having to figure everything out alone.

What You Get at
Project Handover

When the project ends, you receive more than a website. Here is what is handed over, and why each piece matters to your business.

Buyer research report

Evidence on how buyers search and who they find, so decisions rest on data rather than guesses.

Brand book

A documented brand your team and future vendors can follow, created for you if you do not have one.

Keyword-based site structure

A sitemap where each main page exists because buyers search for it.

English copy written for buyers

Pages written directly in buyer language, not translated, so overseas readers trust what they read.

Custom design matched to your brand

A professional first impression that holds up next to your international competitors.

A responsive build your team can manage

Built on a content system that fits your team, or the one you already use, so products and pages can be updated without calling a developer.

Clear inquiry paths

Forms and contact points placed where buyers decide, making it simple to ask for a quote.

Technical SEO foundation

Speed, structure, and indexing handled so Google can find and rank your pages.

Analytics, set up and explained

GA4 and Search Console configured, with a walkthrough so the data is useful, not confusing.

Facebook and LinkedIn pixels installed

Advertising infrastructure ready for the day you want to use it.

Training and an admin guide

A handover session so your team can update products and pages with confidence.

Full ownership, in your name

Domain, hosting, website, and accounts registered to your company. If we stop working together, it stays fully yours.

How the Project Runs, Week by Week

A typical project takes eight to ten weeks from kickoff to launch. The exact length depends on page count and how quickly feedback comes back, so I flag your review points in week one and nothing stalls late.

Where Export Inquiries Are Won and Lost

You do the hard work of getting in front of buyers. The website decides what happens next.

After the trade show

A buyer leaves your booth with your card and twenty others. Back at the office, they open each company’s website to decide who gets a reply. At that moment the site is doing the selling for you, and a clear, credible site is what keeps you on the shortlist.

Before they answer your email

When you or your sales team reach out by email or LinkedIn, most buyers check the website before replying. They are looking for proof that you are real, capable, and easy to work with. The site answers that question before you ever get the meeting.

When buyers search first

Overseas buyers often research suppliers through Google and increasingly through AI tools, long before any exhibition. If your products do not appear where they look, the inquiry goes to a competitor who does. A site built around buyer search terms puts you in that moment.

When you're not in the room

In B2B sales, the person you speak with rarely makes the decision alone. They still need to convince colleagues who may never meet you. A clear, credible website gives them the product information, specifications, and proof they need to make your case internally, even when you’re not there.

FAQ

Common Questions

Find answers to my clients' most frequently asked questions here.

Sometimes the right answer is rebuilding on what you have, and sometimes a fresh start costs less than repairing old problems. The free Website Check looks at your current site first, so the recommendation comes from evidence rather than a default answer.
I write it, in English written for overseas buyers rather than translated from Chinese. Your team reviews for technical accuracy, because you know the products best, and we can hold every discussion in Chinese; the English is only for your buyers. The goal is copy a buyer in the US or Europe reads without hesitation.
Typically eight to ten weeks from kickoff to launch. Page count and feedback speed are the two things that move that number, and I map your review points in the first week so you can plan around them.
Each project is quoted as a fixed price after the free Website Check, based on scope and page count. You see the full quote and deliverable list before anything starts, and the price only changes if we agree to change the scope.
I build on the content system that fits your situation. If your team already works in one, I usually build on that, so your team keeps the tools they already know; if you are starting fresh, I recommend one your team can edit without a developer. Either way, the domain, hosting, site, and accounts are registered in your company’s name from day one. If we stop working together, it stays fully yours.
Usually not, and I would rather say that upfront. A new or rebuilt site typically takes a few months to build rankings, faster for specific product terms and slower for competitive ones. The site launches with the structure that ranking requires, and the Website Check shows which terms are realistic first targets.
Product information, photos or help arranging them, and feedback at three or four review points. Your people know the products better than anyone, so I ask my questions early, then carry the writing, design, and build from there.
I stay available for updates, fixes, and questions, on whatever basis suits you. If you want ongoing growth work, content, search visibility, and advertising sit in a separate Growth System service. There is no lock-in either way.

Find Out Where Your Website Stands Today

The Overseas Buyer Website Check shows how buyers in one target market search for your products, who they currently find, and the one thing to fix first. It is free, it needs only a short form from your side, and you keep the report either way.

If the check shows a rebuild makes sense, I can follow it with a free homepage preview: a working page built around your real products, so you can see the direction before spending anything.
